The ABRS+ Progressive Rider Tests 1–10 offer a structured programme for riders who want to develop their riding and horse care skills, without needing to own a horse. Covering both equitation and stable management, the tests provide achievable steps from basic riding and handling to more developed practical skills and advanced riding movements.
Delivered through ABRS+ member centres, the tests can form part of regular lessons or separate training sessions and can be adapted to suit riders with a disability.
Certificates for Tests 1–7 can be ordered through this website. Completed assessor forms must be uploaded during the order process. For Tests 8–10, please email your request and completed assessor forms to office@abrs-info.org.
Badges are available for Tests 1–5 only and can be ordered only once a learner has completed both the mounted and unmounted elements at the relevant test level. Certificates and badges will be sent out only after the assessor forms have been received and verified.
